Only the hull counts in terms of starting and finishing. But crew and equipment still count for OCS.
Mark room turns off having been given is stated upfront in 18.1. 'when the mark is no longer influencing the boats course'
Additional requirements for hailing
The less than disqualification clause for outside help for illness is removed.
rule 42 exemption include the possibility of foiling with and number of pumps to get foiling. And also includes sailing to windward.
trapeze harness rule ISO 10862 not until 2023
Boats that 'did not sail the course' can be scored by the race committee without a hearing... where previously you had to be protested for not sailing the course (boats in series +1). This will be known as ESC (error sailing course?).
Interesting change to z flag rule in he windsurfing rules! Seems to suggest you'll get a points penalty of DNF+20%, not sure if that can be discarded.
