Don't know how many read the article by Dave Henshaw ( http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/213463/Who-ate-all-the-%28mince%29-pies" rel="nofollow - http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/213463/Who-ate-all-the-(mince)-pies ), but it certainly reflects my own experiences. With modern rigs and their adjustability, the fastest crew weights of dinghies just seems to be getting less and less.

My own weight has come down from 97kg to 86kg because of cycling and yet I didn't seem to have any problems with my Phantom. With my new weight I've now moved on to another class to get more local fleet racing, but at some point my weight is going to creep up again.....
