I went sailing in  anice gentle F2 (maybe just into 3) at Grafham.  Had the lake to myself just about (one other laser was out for a few minutes, and a certain Vareo sailor had finished for the day by then.  Just playing with the GPS and got a Max speed on 17.1 Kts (and max speed actually plotted was19mph).

Not bad for so little wind.

Just need LOTS mopre wind before the closing date for the Speedfreaks comp!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Ouch, trying not to think about tommorrow, appointment at 10:20, so can't go drinking tonight, imagine being hungover with drills being put in your mouth...... What makes it worse is me in my infinate wisdom decided to clean the boat when it was getting dark yesterday and it was absolutely freezing....... and I've just made my cold ten times worse and can't go 10 seconds without coughing. Need to get a nurse to jump on me

Got a great trick to play on kayakers when in a power boat, it involves shallow drive and a lot of water

We had some pupils rent out a wayfarer and they put all their car keys, wallets and phones into a plastic bag and dumped the bag on the floor of the boat........ half an hour later the boat was on its side with the bag at the bottom of the sea.

when your confident and have enough time to take the waves head on its fine... otherwise your in the drink and faced with a deep water re-entry which very few people can pull off or a long swim to the bank towing a waterlogged boat

Wakeboarding is definately the thing tio be doing when theres no wind. especially when your a poor instructor/student and you have to wakboard in front of the hotels off the commitee boat with the club name plasetred down the side.

What brilliant advertising, Club didnt think so and that got banned.

I don't really use Rhino, I prefer max-surf, got NAACA profiles etc. Would be good to learn, I know KingFisher use Rhino for Yacht Design but Princess still use Auto-Cad. If you can get used to all the programs just now, it will pay off big time when you get to Uni.
