Hi
Is the answer not to let people choose the boat that suits them best and race on PY with the  races being on a pursuit basis so winner is first past the post.

Or for silly season foiling must skiff with weight equalisation like the 800 used.

What other suggestions can we come up with to help those deluded people at world sailing.

Finns for men, Europe for women, pursuit race format so first past the post wins, women and mens scores are combined. This removes the vaguaries of the PY as much as possible as if the wind builds during the race the men win, if it dies the women win.

I like this, but why not mix up the tactics.... let the team choose who rides first.

And don't bother with the necromancy ... the Radials are already on site, active in most developing countries and cheap as chips around the world.  Besides the Europe has the wrong name for the 21st Century.... even little ol' Britain ain't bovvered about Europe anymore, so I doubt most of the other great sailing nations are either.
