Being fairly new to this forum I'm just wondering......

on dinghy development one of the topics has had 126838 people looking at it.Is this a record? Favorite Photos!

Definitely a record.

It's a thread that was started 11 months ago by JimC (what a great idea he had that day!), and it's never disappeared from view.
It counts 231 pages, contains mostly photos and must be a nightmare for the remaining few who have a 56kbps modem... If someone with far too much time on their hands read its contents, he (or she) would notice some pictures being posted twice, even three or four times! There's also a couple of self-quoting posts, that include a link to a specific page of the same thread.
It never drifted away from the original topic for too long. I suppose "Favourite photos" covers a wide range of possibilities, and there's always someone who's got another image to display!

PS: les5269, if you've started noticing how many times threads have been viewed... It's a slippery slope that stops right down here, in Nerdland! Welcome!!

I have a 56k modem, takes soooooooo long to load but it's usually worth it!
