So why are there so few Dinghy Sailing clubs along the Lincolnshire coastline? Norfolk.. You cant throw a stick without it landing in a dinghy park.. but Lincolnshire has so few.. Why?

Looking at Google maps it could be because there are very few towns, beaches (other than at skewness) nor harbours

Back in the 70s in the Enterprise World Grimsby and Cleethorpes Sailing Club was as hot as it could be.

Dunno what it's like now tho

the Lincolnshire coast is not favourable  to sailing , unlike the creeks and  harbours of the NW Norlfolk coast that fill up quite nicely  at high tide  or  beaches like Snet  that  allow  access to  reasonable amounts of water t most states of the tide ...
