I looked at the date on a cereal bowl and realised its been around a long time:- 1982 Skandia sponsored Osprey Nationals at Filey. I remember we went with a big group from Lymington and had a lot of fun, only problem was fog and fishing nets. Also Oscar Chess's crew Tiger turning up at prize giving in full make up which must have been a shock for the Skandia people giving out the prizes. I've got one I think is '72.
The oldest one I've competed for (but not won!) is an 1875 vintage IC trophy. |

Maybe the question should not who's got the oldest but who's got the tackiest? I'm sure I have some tiny miniature plastic cannons from some event somewhere in the loft ------------- OK 2249 D-1 138 |
