Am trying to get the sheave itself out of a Proctor jib sheave, so I can use it in the mast heel

am i right in thinking the axle is cap head with the other end peined over?

drill the peined end?

If I was chucking everything else and just aiming to keep the sheave I'd just grind one end or other of the pin away with an anglegrinder.
