I'm finding references to Laser 1 gelcoat available in Dawn & Vela Greys, with corresponding year info. But wondering though if this is probably referring to hull colours?
What do I need to be looking for the deck on a '93 boat...?

should be the same IIRC so would be dawn for a 93 boat
