And here we are, the first one this season...

If anything else, you get lovely views at times from those webcams. And for us in the South, no matter how cold and miserable we can feel, it's quite comforting to see that it's worse elsewhere! LOL

Mind you, Carshalton is a charming young man, full of enthusiasm for:

1) sailing (I do enthuse back, within the realm of my limited knowledge) 

2) football (I don't enthuse at all... 22 sporty young men disputing the ONE ball, it's beyond my understanding)

3)............. no... I won't say.........

He's also a Southerner, living in superb oblivion for anything happening North of....... Watford Gap?? It's not that he doesn't want to know, it's just that he's never been given the right Edyukashun!

No I saw 2 the other evening (I didn't keep to my plan of stopping before my luck went again) but I couldn't work out how to show anyone

  I can't really tell the difference between a Golden and a Normal Haggis.  I'm sure the only ones I saw were Golden, am I right Seabadger?
