Well, that's a first. Normally when clubs talk about banning boats on safety grounds I think they are being ridiculous, but that one looks a dead cert for nightmarish mark roundings/woundings. (woundings started off as a typo, but thought I should keep it!)

Let's try it on a weedy lake?

Foiling dinghies will never be mainstream. It's all about speed, and kites go faster more easily. The Moth is all about cutting edge technology and close racing rather than accessibility or even outright speed.

That looks like the love child of the early attempt at foiling moths in the 90's and an Italian ferry

Awesome pile of junk doomed to fail

Theirs one thing for sure, you will never touch a buoy, the blades will cut anchors first.
Man over board should be a doddle.

A doddle, as in it's easier to lift him aboard in two halves?

It does look a bit like that hydrofoil boat that split in two in whatever the old Bond film was (Thunderball?). Do you need a white cat to sail it?

Why would you want foiling for the masses when as I understand it the masses sail on restricted waters? Or by the masses you mean only of moderate skills, I still fail to see any value. It could be similar to novices getting Cats because they are less tippy and that never ends well.

Unless there are sharks in the water?

I thought DSS was designed for righting rather than foiling. Don't see it working as a foiler in waves.

What is the point of this ?

The foil is pretty huge so why do you need to have an inflatable board ?

A normal kite board is hardly big ?

That Brunetti device just looks like something to make tea bagging even more pointless than it already is Evil Smile

I was referring to the OP's vid in my last post BTW
