There are loads of tops you can get nowadays. All seem pretty expensive now. Gone are the days when I got my first Rooster Hot Top for £30. Now looking around I can expect to spend between £50 to £70 for a similar product. But then I discovered this AQF Neoprene Sweat Shirt Rash Guard Sauna suit on a very large online shopping site. So knowing that there is an premium added to what seems like all sailing clothing are items such as this any different?

Also leggings here: New 197 Black Skin Tights Compression Leggings Base Layer

Are these designed to allow cage fighters to lose lots of weight just before weigh in?

That's what I found.

Which suggest that fit and breathability might be an after thought. Not that neoprene is a particularly breathable fabric.

Claims to make you lose weight and detox. Sounds perfect!

I don't think breath ability is an afterthought - I think it's designed not to be breathable.

However, I think my old Rooster Hot top does much the same job!

Some are for runners, football practice, skiing, some weight training. But they all made from pretty much the same material so my guess a lot of it is marketing BS and just branding. Anyway Looking for the kids really as they seem to be growing a very quick rate. The 10 year old it now 5 foot 3 inches having grown a huge 5 inches last year and the 7 year old is now in 10-11 year old cloths with a big body and small arms and legs. So I have to oversize wetsuits for the body and trim of the excess on the arms and legs. Hence not wanting to buy anything expensive.

I really can't see why they wouldn't work, they are designed to trap heat.

The whole idea behind sweat tops/shirts and sweat pants with that fleecy like material is to make you sweat. Therefore loosing weight. Think Rocky in his sweat soaked sweat top.

I am un nerved by the number of times I have used the word seat in this reply.....

Ignoring the missing w, the reason you sweat is because you are warm. If you aren't in a sauna, you won't be so hot that the sweating is any worse than in any neoprene top designed for warmth.
