This has to be something that is available, but I just can't find it.

Sunglasses when sailing can be great. Up to the point at which they are covered with drops of water. Or worse, when sailing on the sea, a build up of salt. Super hydrophobic coatings for glasses are around, but it seems that none of the suppliers selling "sailing glasses" (lighter than water, ideally polarized) seems to have anything on offer.

Has anyone else been more successful than I have searching for these?

OK. They do exist:

But for much higher prices than what Gill/Gul/Whoever have. The coating itself is not that expensive.

Any other options?

Nice! Something along those lines is what I was initially looking for. I only found stuff in the lines of NeverWet, which leaves a matt finish, so not useful for sunglasses.
