Well, we had a lovely time at Clywedog, with boats ranging from Mirrors to a Flying Dutchman. It was won by a late 60's Shelley design Int Moth, with a Firefly and Finn 1 point and 2 points behind. The Moth took the "old" wing, and the Firefly the "classic" (pre 1965) wing, edging the Finn out on the last leg of the last leg on handicap. The "Vintage" wing was taken by a double-diagonal built just post war built Int 14, recently rebuilt from being a rotted out hulk. A truly amazing restoration.

Not sure how many boats, but somewhere in the 20s.

Packing away in the rain not fun, but most of the racing was without precipitation, which made things more pleasant!

We have just sent some to PatJ for the cvrda site. I hope others will do the same. Maybe Pat can choose the best and send some over to you. Not sure who is supposed to be doing the write-up, actually.

A lot will contain low cloud, mind...

... on a more serious note, I do also look forward to some wood-worm porn, striped sapele and some cold-moulding would be a nice antedote to all this carbon stuff ... if only for a few minutes
