Not quite a marathon in that my GPS recorded only 24 miles last year, but near enough. For the most part the race goes down with the tide and comes back with it, so slower boats aren't outclassed - won by everything from a Mirror to an RS800 in the past.

Classic event (this is the 51st year) and a good day's sail even if you don't race hard.
