Kudos to the team at Weta Marine that just celebrated the 1000th Weta.

Not bad a for a boat conceived in a garage in NZ in 2004, made in China and now sold worldwide.

I guess it makes sense to hold it in New Zealand boats if the event's in New Zealand.

Will Dean Barker be competing in an All Black Weta...?

The NOR for the World Masters Games is now available http://www.worldmastersgames2017.co.nz/media/1511/wmg2017-sailing-sports-information-guide-v1-feb2016.pdf" rel="nofollow - here and registration has just opened. More information about the sailing regatta http://www.worldmastersgames2017.co.nz/the-sports/find-your-sport/sailing/" rel="nofollow - here .

There are 35 Wetas available for charter in Auckland and for the Australians were looking at shipping in a container load from Australia (for AU$2-300 per boat), as well as offering an option to order a new boat for delivery at the WMG regatta and ship it home afterwards.

Also if you're based in Australia you can win free entry to the WMG regatta by taking a test sail in a Weta in 2016 - full details http://www.weta.com.au/wmg.html" rel="nofollow - here.
