Well I hope next year won't be as bad as the one just past for me personally and I wish you all the best.

Resolutions, going to do a bit more running try and get my weight back where it should be, I've been using the excuse of being a 'racing sailboat rider' to become a bit of a porker of late that has to stop.

New Year's Resolutions...

1) do more windsurfing at the coast

2) improve early planing threshold on both dinghies and windsurfers by a drastic exercise/malnutrition programme.  I might skip the bulimia given what a great result it had on John Prescott.

3) sail a D-One (ruscoe is already being ever so obliging on this one)

4) there should never be four or the first three won't get any priority

No real resolutions, but try to exercise more, finally master my Musto properly and have fun and not get frustrated while doing so. Get in the top third of the results too as spending too much time at the blunt end is getting tiresome ;-)

I'd rather be at the blunt end of a musto fleet than the sharp end of a noddy one!

Get my leg fit for the cartilage repair, get to grips with the D1 - be careful James, they are addictive - do more sailing for fun.

Oh and finish the restoration of the classic 14 I started about four years ago.

Happy New Year!

Resolution - get fit enough to climb Ben Nevis in May. And on the way to that target, fit enough to be able to sail without worry of damaging myself in strong winds.

The irony of writing that sat in front of a compter screen is not lost on me...
