I see the flying phantom is being shown to the public at the Paris boat show. It looks like an awesome bit of kit!

My only concern is that it could kill other classes. The obvious one is the F18 class but they are really strong so I am not sure....

Anyway, this boat is on my Christmas list Tongue

Was the chase boat used for filming actually an Albacore?

It looks great. I fear it will remain the sailing version of a 'track day special'. F18 and Nacra 17 will remain the most important cat racing in the UK. I can't see any half-boat heros moving over to something better.
