Winter is coming and the first event of the Sprint 15 winter series got underway on Saturday 2 November at Stewartby Water Sports Club. 24 entrants got some cracking racing in strong winds. This was the first event in a  5 event series of one day events at inland clubs through the winter - one each month from November to March. The Sprint 15 Association has run this popular series for more than 15 years and routinely get 25 - 30 boats taking part.

It is a noticeable trend that many owners of other catamarans are buying Sprint 15s as second boats as it is the only way that they can get in some good racing in the winter months.
