two I think... the front must be to stabilise or something as most foiling windsurf boards I've seen before only have one fin box.

There are 3 things going down into the water. Seems to me that there is very little reduction of wetted surface compared to a planing board, if any.

yes- I just looked a again.  I doubt the reason for this is to be quicker than a speed board (they're already substatianlly quicker than Moths), but to investigate the foiling concept in a board sailing environment.  I like the relative simplicity of it compared to the moth though.... and my North S-Type (triple cam 8.4m) would be ideal for it, an enquiry has been sent.

Whilst it looks interesting, a couple of weeks ago my 11 year old and his mates were blasting past it on their short boards.
