Had a lot of problem today with the mainsail cleat slipping on my Laser Bahia.

Someone recommended an alloy replacement. Couple of questions if possible please..

Is it just called a mainsail cleat? There is no size or anything on it, just the word 'HOLT'.

Where does one buy such a thing and how do I tell which size to order?

Holt is the manufacturer, others are available. Measure the distance between the fixing bolts.
Any chandlers will sell you one, id call into a shop, theyll help you out. But googling cam cleat will get you there.

Might be worth giving that one a good clean though.

Thanks for the advice. Think I've found what I'm looking for.

This one is way beyond cleaning. All the teeth have worn away.

Thanks again

Holt never manufactured anything ... that was all done by Allen Brothers.

A new on will fix your problems.
