Why dont ac crews grind with there legs, legs being much stronger than arms?

Reckon you could be onto something. Get the Olympic cycle team in with Ben and the boys and the cup could be on the way home at last.

It was tried back in the 12m days, and I think there was also an Open 60. No idea why it didn't work. S'pose it might be different with this grinding hydraulic power bit rather than directly pulling on ropes with the winches.

from what I'd heard about the 12 that tried it, they also put the grinders below decks. Which quickly became unpleasant.
