So, he's beginning to get above himself as they inevitably do, actually answered back indeed.

So how do we deal with that?

I'm thinking quick stuff to weather to induce arse drag then rapid bear away to go for the complete swing around the forestay?

Can it be done then recovered and not lose too many places?

What's your best.

PS he's also been very rude about my divided ass wetsuit and had the temerity to suggest that the world owed the breadknife a debt for putting up with me , (actually said that to her, as if she needed further encouragement)

So he's well over due a keelhauling...

The problem with crews is they are ticksy things..... He MAY decide to let his back foot 'accidentally' come off the gunwhale and drag in the wet stuff thus giving your good self a faceful of said wet stuff...which given your sail on that lumpy water wont taste too good and might make your delicate little eyes sting.......

He will be wanting to join the crews union next.

He already does that on occasion, every time my boardies ahem 'expose my golden place, builder style', he amuses himself by attempting to redirect the English channel into that bit within which one might park a bike.

He is overdue admonishment.

am I right in thinking you are not only admitting to exposing your nether regions through an ill-fabricated wetsuit crotch seam, but you also plan to teabag the poor sod?

... pray how does this encourage further particpation in this great sport?

And get some more hetracil.

just pop the trapeze adjuster out of the cleat, that usually sorts them out.

He, is made of similar stuff to yourself in as much as he doesn't know his rightful place in the greater scheme of things and that if a Gentleman of advancing years, should have minor cosmetic issues with the build quality of a fine wetsuit exposed to the brutalities of a cruel and unforgiving seated sport for which the suit was not entirely designed. His task is not to comment adversely nor to manoeuvre himself into a position with a video hotlinked to youtube in anticipation of dawn breaking and sun pouring forth from the said elderly gentlemans nether regions.

Nor am I feeling a simple dunking is sufficient and am here to seek assistance from fellow hard done by helms in the correct application of administrative punishment upon errant crews, feel free to join me as crew sometime I feel a certain attitude correction is appropriate in your case similarly.

Take care, Graeme; abused crews can have their revenge in a myriad of ways too awful to contemplate. Not least the opportunity to accidentally stand on your delicate bits when you least expect it. Ouch
Good job you don't have a proper kite pole - he'd belt you with it LOL

You're not helping here Noah, and my pal took a pole to the eye in a fraut moment thanks to more crew casual behaviour..

It's an appropriate punishment we're seeking here.

Enough to let them know their place, not so much to cause rattle- pram ejaculation..

As you're unlikely ever to attract a crew with enough brain cells to be computer literate, it's likely that you criticise in the knowledge that your crewperson will never see your winges. In the unlikely event that I am wrong, give him the helm and be willing to learn. You can make a judgement then about who is receiving the punishment.

Xpletive ever part of the problem not the solution, not been laid lately I'd guess...

As ever, you're one that really should get some "attention" form the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of the Crews Union...

So that's it then?

We have to just give in to the Unions?

Ignore the abuse and their total disrespect?

When you next have the Pro-lube out (for the boat, grumph, for the boat) "accidentally" spray a little over the side decks aft of the shrounds. Forget to mention this accident to the crew. Of course, if the ensueing collision with the boom involves a trip to A&E, it might have gone a bit far.

Thanks Rupert, nice one, what's pro-lube?

Er yellow welly I realise because of your, ugh, personality disorders, the concept of someone breaking into the autistic spectrum to crew for you is not something you can fully comprehend, but even so I don't get the feeling you''re taken this very seriously..

You need to speak to the nice nurse about increasing that lovely medicine.
