Any one know if there is going to be any TV/video coverage of this event?

I doubt it, there might be some videos afterwards. I'm photographing the event so will try and put something together. It's nothing to do with the AC by the way, the lawyers have made that very clear it seems!

No i realize that however with both events now using hi tech foiling cats / wing sails and some serious sailing talent from around teh world its as close to being the mini AC as its ever going to be... lawyers or not

And I for one would like to see them go

Alan Block and his merry pranksters hope to cover it. He's advertising for local helpers, if anyone is interested.

I'm hoping to go and watch for a couple of days. If anyone would like to split cost of boat hire to spectate or can offer me a ride on a spectator boat (willing to pay something) please PM me. I have Coastal Skipper/L2 Powerboat/Safety Driver tickets if any of that helps.

Life's too short to get involved with the dreaded Clean. But I do plan to go down and loiter round the dinghy park for a day or two.

Well, I provided the information and we can all make our own decisions. Mine on this point is the same as yours!
