Daughter is at the Youths this week and I am in the office Cry

But the 420's have GPS tracking and  I can follow her progress...

Now I spend the time at work watching what they are doing and shouting at the screen LOL

As a training aid after the event it will be great but I am struggling to get any work done this week while watching the live feed..

Sounds like hell... Now pushy parents can give their kids learning and analysis homework.

Better they had a go-pro so they could Facebook their exploits and spread what a great sport this is to their non-sailing mates... Beats the sh*t out of attempting to explain it's not all gin and silly hats with words like we had to.

Wont be long before they'll have them skyped or on a head cam and ear piece, flown by wire like some reaper drone..

I don't know what GPS units they are using but are baged and strapped to the mast.

The software is Tack Tracker with an app for the ipad and iphone

Off to do some work before the racing starts :)
