saw this whilst going through industry stuff at work- http://www.netcomposites.com/news/Gurit-to-Implement-a-Globally-Unified-Brand/7938 - Gurit (SP's parent company) are unifying all their brands , so this year the SP brand will dissapear for good. Something to watch out for when buying repair supplies.

Yes, its a bit sad to see the SP brand go, but when one company buys out another they call the tune. Some would say it makes good marketting sense to have one brand across all the markets , others would say that the Swiss have conveniently "air brushed" SP Systems and their history away!
