LOL Lol ... Running classes of just one is the sure way of delivering fun to those who must win to get their fun.

No Vareos either.  Are they the unloved stepchild of the RS family?

I can't speak for the 600's but the 700's have never really supported the end of season event.  It is essentially an open built around a black tie dinner and as single handers which only really makes sense if you have a partner.

I know I would struggle to persuade SWMBO to spend a November weekend hanging around a sailing club so it just isn't that attractive to me.  Don't get me wrong, I think the event and format are good, just not for me.

I feel sorry for the 2 chaps who turned up to sail in a fleet of one ... that is bad enough, then to be erased from the results is double punishment Ouch

To be pedantic, they are in the results, not the report.  Not sure I'd want to be quoted in a National publication as the winner of a one boat race.....

I dunno what results you are looking at but they are not in the results on the Y&Y report.
I suspect they are not listed by the authour as one boat turn outs are not the best PR ...Cry

They won a prize though! Wink

EDIT - well I say 'prize'... more accurately described as a mug.
