I'm about to replace the centreboard slot gasket. There's a recommended mod involving putting a piece of adhesive tape over the front of the gasket - done with the board down - so I need a suitable piece of reinforced tape about 150 or 200mm square. Anyone know where I can source such a thing?

I think the idea is to cut off as much water as possible but stili allow some flexibility in the seal around the centreboard. |

This might be an out of date tip, as the slot is now as short as it can be- originally it went to the front of the casing, but was changed as a result of CA/owner feedback.

I use greenhouse repair tape, it is basically thick sellotape, available from DIY stores.
