Tricky areas indeed!
I had a cracking time at the Beastie, what a lovely place to sail (apart from Mark 0!) - we'll definitely be back next year.
Sun, rain, wind, dead calm, even a capsize and lots of mud. And a great race against plenty of Blazes, Phantoms, Mike's Icon and lots of others.

Hi Toby

Quite right a good event with a growing following and reputation.  A bit of everything from wind vacuum to squall, some real turns of speed and minutes of barely moving.    We checked out the results before leaving .....  Well at least you were not OCS this time .... but er ... I see you were DSQ in the results.  What happened ?  Did you miss out something ?

BTW ...  Those *******  'tricky' bits nearly got the better of me . A spat of poor helm temper and even poorer language I'm ashamed to relate was involved  .... well the crew tells me so ... I can hardly remember myself  Wink

Ahh mark 0, what an absolute nightmare I think that's where I overtook you peaky. We were both reaching about 3 metres apart with sails set on opposite sides. I got chucked in by one of the verticle gusts you get in a big squall...
Couple of super kite legs! I didn't understand the start line at all and as such gave Charlie cumbley a 50 metre head start, which if we are being frank he didn't need! Great weekend will be back next year!

DSQ??? I didn't know that. I followed you most of the way... until you disappeared. Two opens, two no results. What can I go for next time?

They will probably be on line soon - I suspect the DSQ had something to do with the ODM each lap.  As for some additional events .. so you can chalk up a result lets talk - Peter, the Icon newbie who was there watching will probably join us if we target a suitable event - Glyn Charles at HISC is in May (?) but there might be something suitable sooner.  Lets talk ...
