Its a pity there were not more boats at teh last shout last weekend to compare against...was sad to see the 300 on his own and he was never really close enough to get a good impression of comparitive speed.
 
At the risk of a thread hijacking - What I meant was that a 300 is quicker than an MPS when a reach is too tight for the MPS to fly the kite - it's (the MPS) obviously much quicker on a broader reach. This is with the MPS trapezing. Likewise the 300 is quicker than a 400 when it's too tight for the 400's kite.

still hijacking - So by that reckoning a 300 is quicker than a 600 on a reach?  I'd give that a 300 is probably quicker than a 600 on a run as we can;t sail as deep, but upwind and on a reach i'd always assumed we'd be faster - how else would we be 80 points faster on handicap?

to be fair to TT - the 100's were on the course closest to the windward shore and we had much better wind on the second course.

Can't, doctors orders (see dinghy sailing can make you go blind thread).

And anyway I've had enough of you inland fairies trashing me upwind in poole harbour, all that hanging your butts right over the side arse dragging your way past me.. I didn't sign up to drag my pert bottie all over the ocean, there has to be a better and more dignified way...
