This is fascinating stuff. Most enjoyable.
I hope you don't mind but I did stck a link on the CVRDA site.
They seem to know who was sailing what along with their inside leg
measurement.

Wildly excited Nessa has several crew volounteers already.

I'll look at the original footage and see if K865 is there.

I have to say I found that wildly exciting because my own 14 looks a lot like these.  It was frustrating not to be able to read the sail numbers - I'm looking for K865.  It makes me dead keen to get it on the water.  Unfortunately her indoors was watching over my shoulder and said it looked terrifying!  She is but a beginner, and there are always other crews....

The "Lute Stern" is specifically for beach launch and recovery, it copes better with the breakers when comming in. Most commonly seen in the Hastings fishing fleet.

Charge at the beach and then use a winch to haul it up.
There are plenty of fishing boats still doing that along
the coast.

Nice bit of video, next time anyone suggests we could save
some money by going back to beach launching our motor boats
I'll show that to them.

Feeling sorry for vegans since it became the latest fad to claim you are one
