Ok cheers Ian. Next time youre at the club check out the hash i made of the
gel coat on the front i replaced some of the tape with blobs of gel coat
and it didnt really work that well. But now the tape is white so it doesnt
notice as much.

Salty, speak to Richard Foulds at the club. He had some repairs done to his RS700 a few months ago by someone fairly local (Burnham I think). Was very happy with the result.

Here's a list of Repairers in Essex

Graham Eeles (as suggested by GRF) is included in the list, but there are other alternatives there too, plus a short description of what each can offer.

There's a very good windsurfing board repair guy at a shop called Wet & Dry
Canvey Island, maybe he could be persuaded, alternatively there's another
ex windsurf guy up that way currently building Moths, named Graham Eeles,
he used to work for White Formula in the days they built Topper stuff Iso's
etc, if you could locate him, possibly via the Wet n Dry lot I'm sure they'd
steer you in the right direction.

A couple of weeks ago i had a go at trying to repair the bows on my Vortex with some bog and some gel coat and i have now come to the conclusion that i suck at it, big time. I made a bit of a dogs dinner of it and it still leaks!

Does anyone know of anywhere that does gelcoat repairs around the east coast?

Im on the River Blackwater and i dont really want to travel miles to get it fixed.

Thanks

Dan
