it is redicuoulsly cheap because of all the sponsers!

all the people i know say u could get away without bringing any baggage as u get so many freebee's!

lifes to short to sail slow boats!

Yes; it's something like about £1000 per person for the week including shipping the boat out.

I know a Hurricane crew that go out to it and seemingly the cost of competition entry, shipping the boat out and accomidation all together is cheaper than taking a "normal" holiday out there. People were paying more to stay at the same hotel without being there to do the sailing.

Aruba is on my list "to do".

Warm sailing in November - cannot beat it.  Looks like Stuart Gummer and Gillian Power are running away with it at the moment.  Bit between their teeth after last years disaster.

44 Capricorns in Oz at the moment.  Plenty in Europe. Another 100 sets of hulls on order for the next 12 months with most of these heading for Europe.
