Just a thought.........though not sure how to title or word it! How about a section in the forum for For people wishing to visit another club (for sailing or just a look around) ie. a way of saying, I would like to come to such and such club on such and such date, is there perhaps a forum member who could please sign me in, and/or show me around a little if you have time. Or just to say "hi" any ideas  |

Yer gd idea i went to maidenhead havin met a friend there from the mirror forum - anyone sail at a mirror club i cn visit?

To borrow a Marxist (Groucho) insight... I wouldn't want to visit a club which would hinder any bona fide saior from visiting, even sailing. As a crew I have always believed tha if you turn up at the right time, and just happen to have your sailing gear in the back of the car, there isn't a sailing club in the world where you won't get a sail!
