These guys have had a gruelling week in west Cornwall.  The photos on the Y & Y web site set the scene.   These are definately not under powered ships and it is a pretty exposed piece of water.  Well done  to all those racing, those running the racing and the resilience of the boats.    Check out the reports.  I think the Cool Wall may need a re-shuffle.

Yep, I second that, I14 is nearly worthy of DB9 territory.  Some of teh best sailing pix I've seen in a long while.

I can only dream of accomplishing any more than just swimming round my 14 in that kind of wind  I guess it's all part of the 14 learning experiance. A good quote from the 14 list:

"As far as I can tell, the usual path is to enter the 14 class with a second-hand boat, capsize a few hundred times, and eventually get good enough at keeping it upright so the differences between boats become a noticeable factor."

14's for ever
