Slick, slender, easily manoeuverable in traffic jams, fits any space for the school run, and would even tow my Topper (or fit it on the back seat)

Is this your dream car, Tornado_ALIVE??

Yes I find it fit really well to the Mystere 6.5, Hobby Cat 21  or Nacra 6 sailors  delicacy would be the right adjective

If I could afford one of those, then I'd have something bigger than a dinghy.  Unfortunately the fuel consumption would put me off.  Then there's the new tyres etc.

Give me my small saloon.

As I usually have to tow a Cherub or something of similar weight and only use a 4 wheel vehicle for sailing then the ideal tow vehicle for me is anything with a towbar I can get for a couple of hundred quid or less...

this jeep tornado_alive posted looks better than those other monsters. (not that i know anything about cars)but i think iŽll stick to the sweet little honda civc that tows the 14 quite well!

Simular to my old tow car......

My car was a Ford XC Coupe with a 5.8 Litre Cleveland running on methanol.  10 inch wide tyres on front, 13 inch on rear, dropped to the ground, toploader gear box, 9 inch diff and bug catcher hanging out of the bonnet.

Pulled my boat no problems.  Could also lift the front left wheel of the ground with and without the boar on.

How about a nice Mustang.........

I used to drive a Lada Riva estate. A great tow car...best trip was to France with 2 boats stacked behind and 1 on the roof...And the bumpers didn't fall off if you climbed on them to tie things on the roof, being fixed to the car with steel bars. Of course the down side of this was that the crumple zone was exactly where the driver sat, but you can't have everything!

have you seen the video of that?! it's incredible. It's the modified Reyland escort cossie that had a top speed of about 190mph without the caravan. Unfortunately it got written off last year on the gumball when the driver lost control and rolled it a few times

Went on holiday to the States in June and me and my best mate hired this little baby, for about the cost of an Astra here.  The 5.7 litre V8 would make light work of towing anything...made quite light work of the back tyres too!!!  The cheap US petrol prices and onboard computer just demanded to be abused heinously...12.1mpg, yeah baby!!!

WANT ONE!!!!!!

I think my mums car might feature quite nicely on here, Just need to get anice pic now lol, Pretty hefty 4X4 including dent in bonet caused by rib engine prop. lol. Shes a Beast and makes light work of trailing boats, and you can put another on the roof too.  now all I got to do is get myself behind the wheel again.

caravan and dunny destruction! That sounds like a proper night out. Not too sure about the boat destruction... at least it looks like some sort of knackered motor cruiser in the photo rather than destroying a nice sailing boat!

What exactly goes on at these events Skiffe?! I take it that there is a lot of beer involved for the crowd to really liven things up
