Hi All,

We are entered into a reggata event which is classed as a category C event.

In basic terms does anyone know what is allowed to be displayed - We have been approached by a company to display the text Sponsored by *************..... on each side of our hull.

Is this allowed?

In short Catagory 'C' denotes that there is no limit to the amout of advertising you can carry on any part of the hull, spars or sails.

However check with the event organisers that they do not need you to carry stickers for event sponsors too. Find out where these are so that you do not end up covering your sponsors logo up.

P.S. do you reckon your sponsor would like to sponsor me too?

THanks for that have now checked up on ISAF aswell.

There arent any event sponsors or event stickers so we are fine with that.

I think our sponsor is happy with us at the minute as we dont have any excessive demands - I see you local as well by the South SHields site link im only at Royal Northumberland
