Hi there I'm new to the forum and don't exactly know where to post this so I'll try here! I currently have a Laser Pico which I've had a couple of years and I'm now looking to move on. I'd like to purchase a friends Laser II but unfortunately it doesn't come with a road trailer, I have the Pico road trailer and I was wondering if the laser II would fit onto it. I was doing some research into it and I struggled slightly, but then I came across this dolly on rooster sailing  http://www.roostersailing.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=1&Product_Code=1567&Category_Code=trail&SortBy= - http://www.roostersailing.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=1&Product_Code=1567&Category_Code=trail&SortBy=

which says it fits on the laser road trailer  http://www.roostersailing.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=1&Product_Code=619&Category_Code=trail&SortBy= - http://www.roostersailing.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=1&Product_Code=619&Category_Code=trail&SortBy=

and then I looked one step further onto Laser Performances online store and it says the Laser Trailer is the same as the Pico trailer  http://shopeu.laserperformance.com/templates/prd2.aspx?ProductGuid=79003&GroupGuid=3200 - http://shopeu.laserperformance.com/templates/prd2.aspx?ProductGuid=79003&GroupGuid=3200

So my question is will it fit?

Cheers

Trailers from different manufacturers vary spectacularly... even for the same class of boat... Why not take your trailer to where the Laser 2 is and try it?

Yeah unfortunately the boat is 5 hours drive away! So it's not really possible. :(

In which case ask your mate for some dimensions... length and width of trolley, fixing point...
Even so, as Jim says trailer manufacturers vary significantly. The more recent trolley/trailer manufacturer supplied by Laser is 'Bramber', check out your trolley. On earlier Lasers/LaserII's you may find them supplied with 'Rapide' which are not easily compatible.
