For sale I have my Scorpion Dinghy
The sail Number is 1809
The hull number is 1809
Built in 1980 By Westerly
Combi trailer recently repainted green with hamerite
Launch Trailer recently painted with 3 coats of red oxide paint then 3 coats of hamerite.
The boat:
Was stripped down to bare-wood in April then had 3 coats of Hemple undercoat, then 3 coats of Hemple single pack light blue paint on the hull and foils.
The deck was sanded then varnished with International Schooner gold in May.
It has the main, the Jib and spinnaker.
The main sail is in good conditions apart from where the sail batons go there is a few repairs, the jib is in perfect condition and the spinnaker has a few professional repairs and hasn't been used since I've had the boat as there is no spinnaker pole.
The boom is in good condition after a professional repair.
The combi trailer is in good condition, completely over hauled in July with new tyres.
The launch trolley has 3 wheels and all in perfect working order with copper marine grease.
A cover is included in the sale, it is faded and will need replacing within the next year or so.
All ropes seem to be fine with one replaced 2 weeks ago.
Viewing is available upon request.
The boat is located at Alton Water, Holbrook.
