Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of anything dodgy in the WPNSA sailing area, either inside or outside of the harbour. And what's it like in July/August??

there are some underwater torpedo lauchers too. make sure you watch out for the massive hole that likes to open when RS's sail over it, just out near the starboard exit!

Doh! - should have said before. The National 18s are holding their European championships there and I am down to drive the Safety Boat for the week. Any info safety wise would be much appreciated.

Just a small point but how can a national class hold a european event?!?!

The 18's are sailed in Scotland, England and Ireland but as far as I know no where else in Europe.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it their nationals that are being held there?

Close but no coconut ..... Ireland is not part of Great Britain or the UK, unless Mr Blair has changed everything again and wants to tax it, it is part of Europe. Hence the European Championships. Any way all that matters to me is that I get to ride around in a nice big boat for a whole week - wooohoooooooooo!!

Simple - just become a "traveller" and park on a roundabout!!
