I'd love to be in your team for the Sunsail nationwide thing - is anyone else doing them?! but I need some more practise before I say YES for definite!!! Just a note - luckily for me, there's no bruise from the infamous bottle!! Yeah! I noticed everyone was just sat there at one point, just off the line, but that really confused me! You should stop on the line at the favoured end about 1 boatlength from it, then accelarate with about 8 secs to go(depending oon the windstrenght), leaning the boat to leward then flattening it to get a pump as you sheet in, which pops you out of the front, if you reach up and down then you'll be on port half the time with no rights over all the boats on starboard, and wont have all that much controll over where you are on the line- but i suppose its ok for speed, and if its a small uncrowded line ------------- |
