Ed, the amoujnt of force a topper kicker is going to put on a block isnt very much so i wouldnt of thought you would have to worry too much about its breaking force, maybe on a 49er !! i did order this 1 but they said its not relly for a topper kicker so i have just got this for a bit more money

the best fiddle blocks for toppers are the harken carbo fiddles if you can stretch to them , or the ones used in the worlds pack are the ronstan ones which are really really good, but if you are looking for a cheap fiddle block that will not break, but is only about 15 grams heavier, go for the barton fiddle block, you can get it for £16 the only difference is that it doesnt have ball bearings, but as there are slots that expose the sheave, it can easily be cleaned thus making it very reliable and its the right size aswell before any one says that its meant for yachts, barton do smaller stuff for dinghies ------------- http://www.noblemarine.co.uk/home.php3?affid=561 - Competitive Boat Insurance From Noble Marine FOR SALE: I14 2 Masts 2 poles 3 Booms, Foils Kites/Mains/Jibs too many to list. |
