Best person to speak to would be Dave Cockerill...

The world spec is the best option to go for, if you were to go for the club kit, you would really have much of an upgrade and if you planned to get the world kit eventually after that it would cost more in the long run, sailing solution will set up the world kit for you to all the correct measurements and you can be sure it will all be properly spliced with no worries, with the world kit your getting the best package available, short of buying al the parts yourself from harken carbo and harken ti-lite blocks and then setting it all up yourself using D12 and vectran where aplicable and spectra or racing pro elsewhere, this would be truly the best rigging plan and is found on all the top boats, but it is costly, the worlds pack is a great deal and i think it comes in ronstan or holt, it used to be that ronstan was they way to go but story goes and from personal experience, this years holt kit is far superior, but as with all ball bearing kit, its only good if you maintain it, and rinse it off after use with fresh water

No, you can use your controlls more effectively and with more ease withthe worlds kit.

Yeah you know most of the controls are altered to make them to suit you like having a pull form foward outhaul which is easier than the club race one.

Also with the worlds race kit you get all the good, reliable makes of block (like harken and holt) and you get good no stretch rope.

the other thing worth considering is the centre main and ditching the metal outhaul thing and going for either a rope one or a weebing laser outhaul strop and the new webbing strops for the kicker attachment, also the worlds kit will include the new 6:1 downhaul

You can't use the new kicker webing if you already have the rivet drilled in, that's what i've heard anyway.

yes i dont have a metal thing holding my sail on anyway because it destrioys the boom, i have got one of the plastic white clips and a peice of string, and i don think my outhaul is 5:1 i think.
