Thinking of changing my Vareo for a RS600...

I see there are 2 wing options. Would I be right in thinking the narrow wings are for heavier helms where as the lighter helms would have the wide wings  ?

70kg or lighter and you will have wide wings.

70- 76kg you can have either narrow wings or wide wings with a 3kg lead added to the centreline.

76kg and above you will need narrow wings.

Glad you are interested in joining the class!

I'd also say that if you find a great boat but with the wrong wings for you there is usually someone to swap with - especially it seems if you have a set or wides and are after narrows.

Theres not much actual difference between them - only something like 15-20cm on the overal breadth.

If your after direct 600 advice the RS600 yahoo group is pretty quick to get back with answers to any questions.

Hope to see you on the water soon!
