Does anyone have any information about the splash dinghy such as the new kicker and outhaul arrangement. Also does anyone
know how good (or bad) they are in light winds - about 5 kts or less. And lastly how overpowering are they in windy
conditions - 15 kts or more.

Plus could anyone tell me where I could get a splash for under £500?

my daughter has a splash.

the new kicker and outhaul work well.

because the sail is on the small side the boat can stick a little in very light winds. on the other hand the boat plaines well in mid to strong winds and the sail can be depowered easily.

my daughter is fourteen and can cope with the larger flash rig in 15 kts.

overall it is a very good boat for children or small adults.

See I'm 16 and weigh 57kg so I think I would be at the top
end of the splash rig and I cant seem to find any splashes
with a flash rig let alone for under £500.
