Edit: Originally hotlinked from a site called w.t.furls
(minus .'s), but the forum replaced w.t.f with "What",
thus breaking the url, dodgy :(

edit: Wow, that's right. Add w t f to the list of banned words that you're not allowed to say here.

A shag is a type of seabird, also known as a cormorant.
Bender is a character in Futurama.
Gaylord is an angicisation of the French surname Gaillard.
A balloon will burst if you prick it with a pin.
The door has a shiny brass knob.
Fanny By Gaslight is a novel by Michael Sadleir, written in 1940.
A mule is the offspring of a horse and an ass.
The sperm whale has the largest brain of any animal.
Great tits can be seen in woodlands, parks and gardens across the UK.

Edit: The censorship doesn't seem to be too excessive, although I'd have thought that allowing w t f wouldn't exactly cause moral outrage at sailing clubs up and down the country.

Our Laser Vago was named after a German female skier.

Continuing the theme our 4000 is named 'Marusa Ferk' after a Slovinian female skier.

Many years ago when I worked in another line of business I had dealings with a great guy at Severn Trent Water, his name was Richard Strain, and yes he did shorten it....

First time I spoke to him I had to apologise for laughing for ages, he took it all in good humour (in fact he does it on purpose to see what peoples reactions are).

There's a chap who keeps a yacht in our harbour called
Richard Cummings, who also shortens it...

I've also taught a Mr Acock to windsurf, cant remember if
his first name was Paul.

Don't usually post here, but I have a gem...

I once went for a job interview at Party Gaming, and while reading up on the company, found out that one of the founding members of staff was called Anurag Diksh*t - harsh!
