Been really enjoying the snowboard cross finals the last couple of nights. Properly good tele- full contact snowboarding, faceplants, super close racing. Outstanding.
Ski cross at the end of the week should be a blast. They're armed, after all. IOC do have to be congratulated for nicking these events from X-Games. I'm not convinced on thing such as the knee shredding moguls or the halfpipe, as they require scoring judges, but four people on track, first across the line wins? Simple to understand, exciting, ace tele. ------------- -_ Al |

Yep, I never watch sports on TV normally but last night, I was glued to the Ladies snowboard cross event and followed every bump of the track, wincing when they came a cropper. The Canadian girl who won the Gold was flying down, literally.
