Does anybody have anywhere they would recommend staying for
a weekend near Grafham?

try the residential centre (next to club), wheatsheaf pub (do they have rooms?) end of road or B&B on the http://www.grafham.org/?page_id=94 - grafham website. .

Stay in perry cos that's walking distance..

We stayed there for the Rs200 winters last year (The wife didn't fancy sleeping in the car)  It has a decent pub/restaurant and a petrol station and Maccas next door, so everything you need for a cheap night away sailing!!!!

That would be the one at Brampton Hut services just to verify. There are other hotels in Huntingdon itself, this one is a few miles away from the town.

As already said the pub attached is pretty good (used to go there at lunchtime from work many moons ago).

Can be a bit of a pain to get out of though escpecially in the rush hour.
