............on the internet at this time, I really need to sleep because I'm up tommorrow at 8 to sail the boat. Should be at the pub instead of being "sensible".

You should be in the pub till about 4am and get realy drunk, then just get your crew to do all the work tommorrow

Hydro, 2am is the best time to do your coursework (but only if it was due in a few days earlier)

I have two views on coursework: professionally, as a teacher, I strongly recommend to produce a thoroughly researched, carefully balanced piece of work that you took plenty of time over. Set yourself a timetable, work out a plan and spread the writing over a few weeks...

Personally, all courseworks I had to produce were written in the course of a night, after begging the teachers for yet another delay... You've got no time to faff around with details, go straight to the point and, at the end of the course, you get praised for producing such concise and slipstreamed work!!!   It does work, trust me

Yeeehaaaa, and who cares if it doesn't happen to make any sense...
Friday night, I went to see my next-door neighbour for a friendly drink... 3 bottles of wine later, I got home and, allegedly, had a couple of conversations on MSN. Well, on Sunday, guys at the sailing club asked me how my head was
Apparently, I was happily typing more rubbish than usual, and one guy said he'd never seen so many typos in his life!!!!!!

So, by all means, write an essay after 6 pints but make sure the teacher who reads it has had 6 pints as well!

Lol sounds fun, Oh the memories of staying up late to do work, best one was when our 4000 word final essay was suposed to be handed in like the whole of my year was on msn and we had a runnign tally of howmany words people had done  I have never seen my year so tired, half the year had been up ALL night, I think i actualy fell off my chair at 5 in the morning so decided to give up.

Or the other one was over half term i had to do all my geog course work so i had most of it done and at the weekend i had party friday night (didnt sleep at al) and sat night (slept 2hours) then got home to finnish my course work and slept 3 hours that night, school was fun on monday morning

But then again I dont have to worry about monday mornings again for a LONG time

KnightMare, you want to make us believe you're older than your profile lets us know... When it comes to memories of essays and courseworks handed in late, I'm 20 years ahead of you - and that includes 5 years at Uni!

the teacher doesn't need six pints aswell, I once stayed up till 6 int he morning, whilst very drunk, doing my history coursework and somehow got a B for it. (at least i think my teacher was sober)

Teachers is quite funny, but me history teacher was completely against drinking (i think her dad was an alcoholic), which always made life interesting after a pub lunch

lol,  i kno what u mean about woring up all night - however i dont really go for the alcohol option,  have found after like bns having strange msn convos that shuoldnt go near the drink for college work.  instead i choose its horrible but does the job instnt coffee which i hate but mix it with loads of sugar and a little milk so its just drinkable then drink in shot like mnner and should keep u buzzing whilst working for a long time

How come you get to finish school now!! I've got another term left with A levels. That is so unfair. (but it is another term with sailing every other day so not too bad I guess)...
