Also, it has nothing to do with the plastics used in rotomolds. In fact, the research looks pretty flimsy anyway.

I love that the whole thing hinges on one group of boys prefering "sports" as indication of being less "masculine".

 

That's right, "sports" aren't manly lads.

Your assumed insinuation is flawed in that Phthalates are specifically used to soften plastics. Rotomoulded boats certainly don't need to be any softer so don't contain any.

Environmental campaigners called the study 'extremely worrying' and called for a crackdown.

Crackdown on what?  all chemicals? poor journalism? it does not specify. The sort of open ended staement that the 'Mail' is brilliant at.
